Keep all your contactless cards (Bank, Oyster etc) in one wallet without clashing.

Nowadays we carry more cards than cash and things are becoming more and more easier.. Everything is starting to become contactless and automatic which sometimes causes trouble. For example, if you have a contactless bank card in your wallet along with your oyster travel card (also contactless) it can interfere and clash with each other when trying to tap at a payment facility or train station. In order to avoid this simply use an old piece of card (NOT contactless) for example a business card you won't use and wrap it around with several layers of Aluminium Tin Foil. Wrap the entire card and place it in between your contactless debit card and your oyster travel card. So next time you tap at the train station you won't be faced with a card clash as the foil will prevent interference.

Although it cost £5.99 its a long term investment, I got mine from eBay and I've linked it below to help anyone out that is interested.

I am i no way affiliated with the buyer, just helping.

Yes, you can use the aluminium foil however why risk it? According to TFL and there tips they have stated to keep them separately being the best possible option, better to be safe than sorry.

If you do not want to use Aluminium Tin Foil - personally I do not :-) you can use my solution.

Oyster card is kept in normal wallet without any shielding whilst my debit contactless cards in Koruma sleeve which perfectly disable them.

No more Card Clash :-))))))))))

Hope I helped someone.

Another solution to avoid Card Clash

Another solution now exists. Stop the Card Clash (www.stopthecardclash.london) has RFID blocking sleeves for contactless cards. Inserting your card in a sleeve means that it can't be read by TFL while the card is in the sleeve. If it can't be read then it can't be charged - problem sorted. They list Stockists including an e-Commerce web-site.
